Alina Timofte is a graduate student from Romania who earned a BSc. in Communication and Public Relations from Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK in 2016. After a year of work, she decided to pursue an M.S. in Public Communication and Technology at Colorado State University. She is currently in her first year of graduate study and she is a Graduate Teaching Assistant under Prof. Sarah Pooler in JTC 300.

Through learning from highly trained professionals at CSU, she wishes to get a greater insight into the field of Communication Technology and extend her previously gained knowledge in order to achieve academic excellence. During her time at Colorado State University, Alina wishes to research concepts related to organizational and corporate social media, public communication campaigns and technologies, strategic communication, branding and corporate imaging. When it comes to career interests, she would like to pursue a career in either of the Public Relations, Marketing, Event Management or Organizational Communication fields.
