MUSIC PROGRAM
This month’s program explores the notion of techniques translated from one form to another, presented in conjunction with the exhibition Off Kilter, On Point: Art of the 1960s from the Permanent Collection.

Many of the visual artists in the exhibition blurred the lines between traditional media, such as painting and sculpture, or between disciplines, presenting works that are part visual art and part literature. Similarly, the musical program for this month presents an exchange between typical flute and cello repertoire: from Bach cello suite on alto flute, to cello’s piece, by Gaspar Cassado, including quotations from flute solos in orchestral repertoire.
