Family Day at the UCA

Presented by Middle School Outreach Ensembles & Gregory Allicar Museum of Art

Join GAMA and Middle School Outreach Ensembles (MSOE) for a day of music and art at CSU’s University Center for the Arts!

Free & open to all.

REGISTRATION IS NOT REQUIRED, but sign up through Eventbrite to get email reminders and notifications!

 

Family Day, April 1, 2023 GAMA + MSOE

 


10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: MSOE’s Carnival

Explore music through technology, instruments, games, singing songs, composition, and genres. Win prizes and candy!

Children younger than fourth (4th) grade are welcome to come and observe with their parents. However, MSOE activities are designed for students grade 4 and up. No registration required!

1 to 3 p.m.: GAMA’s Family Day

Experience art through hands-on activities inspired by the exhibition MICROLOGIES!

Family Day is a free, drop-in program featuring art activities led by Gregory Allicar Museum of Art staff and curators, CSU Art Education faculty, and students.

Designed for children ages 5-12. Everyone is welcome! No registration required.

 

 


PARKING INFORMATION

Gregory Allicar Museum of Art is located on the first floor of the University Center for the Arts, at 1400 Remington Street on the southeast end of CSU’s campus in Fort Collins, CO.

Free parking is available on the streets surrounding the UCA, along Remington Street, E. Lake Street, and Peterson Street.

Paid parking is available in the CSU parking lot on the west side of College Avenue, which can be reached by entrances on Pitkin or Lake Streets. A short stroll through the College Avenue underpass brings you through the Annual Trial Gardens to the University Center for the Arts.


ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

GAMA is fully wheelchair accessible, and a wheelchair is available for visitors on a first-come, first-served basis. Large-print and Spanish language translations are available for exhibition texts. Please call (970) 491-1989 in advance for special assistance.

Accessible entrances can be found at the Griffin Lobby Entrance near the giant Warhol Soup Can sculpture off of Remington Street, or by entering through the museum’s sculpture garden from the alley to the east of the building.
