Scholarship Selection Process

After carefully reviewing all applications and recommendations, the Scholarship Committee(s) will select the best qualified and most deserving recipient for the appropriate scholarship. 

1. Scholarship recipients will be notified of their selection.
2. Recipients will have an opportunity to accept or decline the scholarship.
3. Scholarship funds will be transferred directly into the recipient's student account in two equal installments, one-half in August for Fall Semester, and one-half in January for Spring Semester, unless otherwise noted. 
4. If a student enrolls for only one of the semesters, he or she will receive only one-half of the total award. A student must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 credits per semester) at Colorado State University at the time the account is credited.

If a recipient chooses to decline the scholarship, the Scholarship Committee will review and consider all appropriate applications on file and select another recipient. The College will retain applications through Spring Semester of the application year.

If you have been awarded a scholarship that is considered renewable, you must submit a new application form each year since the scholarship is not automatically renewed. If you have questions about our program, please call Heather Brooks at (970) 491-5421.
