Biography

Pete Taylor (Peter Leigh Taylor) is Professor in the Department of Sociology. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. from Cornell University and his B.A. from Trinity University. He specializes in natural resource and environmental sociology and has published extensively on organizational problems of community-based forest management in Mexico, Guatemala and Bolivia. His current research focuses on environmental flow cooperation on the Colorado River in Colorado and on agricultural water issues in the Colorado River Basin.
