Biography

Morgan received her bachelor’s from the University of Arkansas in Agricultural Education, Communications and Technology, with a concentration in agricultural communications and a minor in Animal Science. She also has an associate degree of Applied Science from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. Her interest in CSU stems from her diversified background in production agriculture. She believes CSU will provide an unmatchable opportunity to achieve her research goals and learn from well-respected professionals in the communication field. While pursuing her master’s, Morgan hopes to research producer perceptions among both the farming and ranching communities about adapting new technologies being developed to aid in agricultural practices. She is excited to be mentored through the research process by experts in the agricultural communications field, and disseminate her findings through presentations at professional conferences and published in peer reviewed journals. After obtaining her master’s, her career interests are to work as an agricultural communicator, in public relations or marketing, bridging the gap between producers and consumers, but also to help new generations of farmers implement new agricultural technologies.
